As a result of a critical partnership with the American Red Cross, the company will now carry warmed Whole Blood on all PHI aircraft in Arizona and New Mexico.
The collaboration with the American Red Cross ensures blood supplies are readily available and managed with the highest standards of care. Carrying warmed Whole Blood on board air medical transports has been shown to significantly enhance patient outcomes and community health.
