The KDC1000/1100 SmartSled features a modernized design, IP65 durability, and high-performance components, delivering reliable 1D/2D barcode scanning and cost-effective functionality. The KDC1000 features a forward-facing scan engine, while the KDC1100 includes a 35° downward-angled engine, each tailored to specific scanning needs. Both models offer standard, medium, or extended-range 2D imaging options and support modular add-ons like extended batteries, UHF readers, and mPOS options. Its compatibility with an expanded range of iOS and Android devices ensures businesses can achieve unparalleled flexibility and future-proof their scanning investments.
The SmartSled integrates seamlessly with devices using a physical connection through the innovative KOAMTAC Custom Case system. Custom Cases for iPhone 16 utilize USB Type-C connectors for a stable OTG connection, with optional Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connectivity provided by the SmartSled itself. Users upgrading their host devices only need to replace the Custom Case, reducing costs and electronic waste.

The KDC1000/1100/1200 SmartSled Scanners are not the only KOAMTAC products receiving updates. The Pistol Grip/Extended Battery Adaptor has been revised to improve functionality and durability. This adaptor, designed to connect either the Pistol Grip or Extended Battery SmartSled companions, now features a locking function. This upgrade ensures a more secure connection between the adaptor and its companion devices, providing added stability and protection, particularly in demanding environments where accidental drops are more likely.
In addition to the adaptor improvements, KOAMTAC has upgraded the Extended Battery companion itself, increasing its capacity from 2000mAh to 4000mAh. This enhanced capacity better aligns with the power demands of modern smartphones, ensuring extended operation without interruptions.
